Khulna University Of Engineering & Technology(KUET) celebrate forty-two years of hoisting the national flag on its campus saturday 02 March, 2013 with a vow to fight for ensuring trial of war criminals, bringing the pride of the national flag back and building a non-communal Bangladesh.

Expressing solidarity with the Shahbagh protesters who urged the authorities of all educational institutions across the country to hoist the national flag, several hundred students, teachers, officers, staffs gathered in front of the auditorium On 02 March 2013, at 10 a.m. Vice-Chancellor of KUET Prof. Dr. Muhammed Alamgir raised the flag. In a short speech Prof. Dr. Muhammed Alamgir said, `There is no place for war criminals in this bangle’. The students and everybody took oath and demanded speedy trial, capital punishment of all war criminals and to make bangladesh free from the Rajakar.
