Fresher’s Reception of the students of `16 batch and Farewell of outgoing graduate students of `12 batch of the department of Leather Engineering (LE) was held on 11 May at 5:30 pm at the Auditorium. Vice-Chancellor of KUET Prof. Dr. Muhammed Alamgir graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Dean of CE Faculty Prof. Dr. Md. MahbubAlam, Dean of ME Faculty Prof. Dr. Mihir Ranjan Halder, Director (Students’ Welfare) Prof. Dr. Sobahan Mia were present as the Special Guest. Head of LE Department Dr. Md. Abul Hashem presided over the ceremony. At the ceremony fresher’s students were received with flowers and crest handed over the graduate students. Among others teachers and students of LE department were present in the function.
