Position: Sr. Operation Engineer (Shift In Charge)
Responsibility: Erection: •Supervise installation (CFU, NHT& CRU unit) of process equipment and all other items of the project. Ensure and control quality of fabrication work, welding, installation. •Understanding of mechanical drawings for equipment’s (Distillation Column, Column Internals, Drum, Vessel, Injection Package etc.), installation & doing necessary modifications maintaining process requirements •Closely supervised NDE (Non Destructive Examination) during Erection period as follow Code B31.3 •Studied and interpreted mechanical construction drawings (Fabrication, Piping plan, Isometric, PFD and P&ID etc.) •Preparation and coordination as a team leader of all project technical specification and documentation as API standard •Monitoring & Evaluation of all assigned contractor Sigma & EPC Contractor ISTANA KARANG LAUT (IKL),Indonesia due to Erection period. •Close integration with Site HES in order to ensure safety of work place, create safety awareness & implement of safety rules & regulation strictly within the organization. Pre-commissioning & Commissioning: 1. Co-ordinate the pre-commissioning & commissioning activities such as process piping installation as per P&ID, Hydrostatic test of Piping, flushing, leak test, chemical cleaning, steam blowing, dry out, refractory drying, catalyst and adsorbents loading, DCS loop checking, DCS, ESD and PLC logic test by process licensor Axens France. 2. Carry out commissioning and sign off checklist and method statements records to confirm the activities have been satisfactorily completed. 3. Reporting abnormalities, failures and take corrective measure as per guide lines 4. Review, update and develop detailed start-up sequence, procedures and operating manuals, 5. Execution of safety procedures such as tagging, vessels entry for inspections, isolation & blind installation procedures and work permit procedures in collaboration with HSE department, 6. Develop punch item database by systems, checking for completion and close-out of punch items accordingly with client and company agreed standards, 7. Utility System commissioning: Hydrogen generator, Instrument air compressor, Cooling Tower, Diesel pump, Boiler, WTP , HEATEC, BORN installation and commissioning, Nitrogen system, Fire water, Fuel gas, Flare system, Hydrocarbon Closed sewer, process water, 8. Commissioning of vertical W & M type reciprocating compressor with vendor SIAD. 9. Reciprocating, CP, Gear and Rotary Vane type pump installation & commissioning Start up &Operation: 1. Controls continuous operation of processing units to produce products, such as LPG, ,SBPS, Octane, MTT,SKO, HSD by such methods as distillation, adsorption, thermal and catalytic cracking and reforming, 2. Monitor and analyzes specifications & test results to determine changes to equipment controls to regulate temperature, pressure, rate of flow to produce specified product. 3. Monitors and optimizes plant chemical processes and equipment, in compliance with safety, health and environmental regulations. 4. Carrying out normal startup, Operation & shutdown, correct operation upsets of the plant. 5. Special procedure for catalyst handling or treatment prior to start-up. 6. Handling capability of Emergency situation of process .
