Project 2 -Conceptual Master Plan on Solar Streetlight
The general objective of the assignment is to help the KMP to develop a conceptual Master Plan for Solar Light Installation in the Khulna City.
specific objectives which are presented below.
- First is to assess the need for installation of new solar light post in the city to increase the comfort, security and safety of the citizen of Khulna city;
- Second to identify the locations where to install the new solar light posts to attain maximum efficiency with a minimum cost;
- Third to develop a phase-wise plan for implementation of the Solar Streetlight Master Plan based on the priority.
Project 1- Feasibility study of: “Waste Management Development Project of Khulna City Corporation (KCC)"
This study aims to explore the scope of the principles and techniques to be considered in urban planning for building water resilient city using smart water management technologies.
Objectives:
i. To investigate the existing condition of waste generation, waste collection and transportation to the dumping point.
ii. To observe the existing drainage condition
iii. To present (by referring back to the DPP) the financial and economic viability of the project/project components.
iv. To present sufficiently detailed yet concise accounting of the environmental/ecological impacts of the project/project components.
v. To assess the need of logistical support of proper waste management
vi. To suggested measure for long term sustainability of the project/project components.
