Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET) Main Gate Complex was unveiled at 10:30 am. on 22 May 2012 Tuesday. VC of KUET Prof. Dr. Muhammed Alamgir, as the chief guest, unveiled the stone board and inaugurated it by opening the gate and walkout. In a short speech, here at main gate premises, Prof. Alamgir thanked Ministry of Education, UGC, Planning & Development section and Civil Engineering Department of KUET, Architect and all concerned related to this project. With the building of this attractive and exceptional design of KUET Main Gate Complex, the University moves another step forward to the progress to its goals. Special prayer was also held just after the unveiling the plate board of KUET Main Gate Complex. Director (Planning and Development) Prof. Dr. Md Abul Bashar, Chief Engineer (In-charge) A B M Mamunur Rashid, Designer of Main Gate Complex and Assistant Professor of Architecture Discipline Faculty of Khulna University Mr. A F M Ashraful Alam Sajib, Local eminent & Ex Banker Mr. Syed Ashraf Hossain also spoke on the Ceremony. Dean of the Faculties, Directors, Heads of the Departments, Section Heads, Teachers, Officers and Staff of KUET were present in the occasion. KUET Main Gate Complex is a project entitled "Development of Public Universities" under The Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh for which 33 Lac Tk. was allocated for the construction work.
