Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET) observed "Historic 7th March" Day 2023. Marking the day, On 09:30 AM, Honorable Vice-Chancellor of KUET, Prof. Dr. Mihir Ranjan Halder and Honorable Pro-Vice Chancellor of KUET Prof. Dr. Sobahan Mia offered the floral wreaths in front of the sculpture of Bangabandhu at the "Bangabandhu Square" on behalf of the University. Next Teachers’ Association, Director (Students' Welfare), Officers Association, Provosts and students of Fazlul Haque Hall, Lalan Shah Hall, Khan Jahan Ali Hall, Dr. M. A. Rashid Hall, Rokeya Hall, Amar Ekushey Hall, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Hall, Bangladesh Chattra League, Karmokarta Samity (Up-gradation), Karmachari Samiti and Khulna Engineering University School placed the floral wreaths in front of the sculpture of Bangabandhu at the "Bangabandhu Square". On 7th March morning, the national flag was hoisted all important buildings and residential halls in the KUET campus.

To mark the day discussion meeting was held at the auditorium on 07 March at 10:30 am. Honorable Vice-Chancellor of KUET, Prof. Dr. Mihir Ranjan Halder took part in the discussion meeting as the Chief Guest. Honorable Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Sobahan Mia, Dean of Civil Engineering Faculty Prof. Dr. Md. Saiful Islam, Dean of Electrical and Electronic Engineering Faculty Prof. Dr. Md. Shahjahan, Dean of Mechanical Engineering Faculty Prof. Dr. Md. Shahidul Islam participated in the discussion as Special Guests. Director (Students Welfare) Prof. Dr. Md. Abdul Motin was presided over the event.

Among others, Director (R&E) Prof. Dr. Shibendra Shekher Shikder, Head of Urban and Regional Planning Department Prof. Dr. Md. Mustafa Saroar, General Secretary of Teachers Association Prof. Dr. Sheikh Md. Rabiul Islam, President of Officers Association Engr.
