Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET) observed "Historic 7th March" Day 2021. Marking the day, On 09:30 AM, Honorable Vice-Chancellor of KUET, Prof. Dr. Quazi Sazzad Hossain offered the floral wreaths in front of the sculpture of Bangabandhu at the "Bangabandhu Square" on behalf of the University. Next Teachers’ Association, Director (Students' Welfare), Officers Association, Provosts and students of different Residential Halls (Fazlul Haque Hall, Lalan Shah Hall, Khan Jahan Ali Hall, Dr. M.A. Rashid Hall, Rokeya Hall, Amar Ekushey Hall, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Hall), Bangladesh Chattra League, Karmokarta Samity (Up-gradation), 3rd Class Karmachari Samiti, 4th Class Karmachari Samiti, Master Role Karmachari Samiti, Gourob’71, Diploma Engineer Samity placed the floral wreaths at the memorial. On 7th March morning, the national flag was hoisted all important buildings and residential halls in the KUET campus.

At 10:30 AM, Honorable Vice-Chancellor of KUET, Prof. Dr. Quazi Sazzad Hossain took part in the discussion meeting as the Chief Guest where Director (Students’ Welfare) (In-charge), Prof. Dr. Ismail Saifullah presided over the program. Dean of CE Faculty, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Abu Yousuf; Dean of EEE Faculty, Prof. Dr. K. M. Azharul Hasan; Registrar (In-charge), Engr. Md. Anisur Rahman Bhuiyan were present as the Special Guests.
