The Freshers' Reception of '18 batch and Farewell Ceremony of '14 batch of students of Mechanical Engineering (ME) Department of Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET) were held on 13 March, 2019. The Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Quazi Sazzad Hossain graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Managing Director of West Zone Power Distribution Company Engr. Md. Shafik Uddin, Dean of ME Faculty Prof. Dr. Mohammad Ariful Islam and Director (Students’ Welfare) Prof. Dr. Shibendra Shekher Sikder, Professor of ME Department Prof. Dr. Khandkar Aftab Hossain were present as the Special Guests. Head of ME Department Prof. Dr. Sobahan Mia presided over the function. At the ceremony fresh students were received with flowers and crests were handed over to the outgoing students by the guests.
