After Sardinia 2011 International Conference, Prof. Dr. Muhammed Alamgir, the Vice-Chancellor of KUET, visited Padova University, Italy to see various research and other facilities at the invitation of Prof. Dr. Raffaello Cossu. It is one of the oldest universities of the world founded in 1222 and graced by the great philosopher and scientist Galileo Galilei and Nicolaus Copernicus. During this day long visit Prof. Alamgir visited the various research ongoing research activities on waste management and environmental issues. He also discussed the bilateral issues with the counterpart and visited the administrative and other facilities. This visit will bring two universities into more future collaboration which was established in 2009 just after the visit of Prof..Cossu at KUET.
