Fresher’s Reception of the students of `16 batch and Farewell of outgoing graduate students of `12 batch of the department of Textile Engineering (TE) was held on 22 May at 5:30 pm at the seminar room of TE department. Vice-Chancellor of KUET Prof. Dr. Muhammed Alamgir graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Dean of CE Faculty Prof. Dr. Md. Mahbub Alam and Dean of ME Faculty Prof. Dr. Mihir Ranjan Halder were present as the Special Guest. Head of TE Department Dr. Mohammad Abdul Jalil presided over the ceremony. At the ceremony fresher’s students were received with flowers and crest handed over the graduate students. Among others teachers and students of TE department were present in the function.
