Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET) celebrated Saraswati Puja, one of the religious festivals of the Hindu community on 01 February 2016, with traditional gaiety, religious fervour and spirit of pursuit of art and knowledge which Goddess Saraswati provides. The Hindus worship Saraswati, the Goddess of knowledge, music, art and culture, on the Vasant Panchami day with pomp every year mostly in educational institutions, where the students seek the blessings of Goddess Saraswati. Dean of ME Faculty Prof. Dr. Mihir Ranjan Halder, Director (P& D) Prof. Dr. Shibendra Shekher Sikder, Director (DSW) Prof. Dr. Sobahan Mia, President of Puja Udjapon Committee and Associate Professor of CSE Department Dr. Pintu Chandra Shill, Teachers, Students, Officers, Staffs were present there.
