Two dayy long 4th International Conference on Mechanical, Industrial and Energy Engineering (ICMIEE)-2016 was held at Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET) on 26 & 27 December. Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of KUET has been organized the conference to share knowledge and experiences at international level to develop new ideas about proper utilize of Mechanical Engineering facilities through use of modern science and technologies.

On 26 December at 10 a.m. in the Inaugural Ceremony Prof. Dr. M. H. Khan, Ex-Vice-Chancellor, BUET was present as the Chief Guest, Prof. Dr. Muhammed Alamgir, Vice-Chancellor, KUET was present as Chairman. Prof. Dr. Mihir Ranjan Halder, Dean, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, KUET was present as Organizing Chair. Over 150 of eminent scientists, engineers, researchers and scholars from different universities from home and abroad including USA, India, Malaysia, South Koria have been participating in the two day long conference.
