Fresher’s Reception of newly admitted 1st year students of `15 batch and Farewell of outgoing graduate students of `11 batch of Department of Leather Engineering (LE) was held on 24 May, 2016 in the Auditorium at 5.30 PM. Vice-Chancellor of KUET Prof. Dr. Muhammed Alamgir graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering Prof. Dr. Md. Mahbub Alam, Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Prof. Dr. Tarapada Bhowmick, Director(Students’ welfare) Prof. Dr. Sobahan Mia were present as the special Guests. Head of LE Department Dr. Md. Abul Hashem presided over the ceremony.

At the ceremony fresher’s students were received with flower and crest handed over the graduates students. Among others teachers from various departments, others students of the Department were also present the function.
