Fresher’s Reception of newly admitted 1st year students of `15 batch and Farewell of outgoing graduate students of `11 batch of Department of Mechanical Engineering (ME) was held on 11 May, 2016 in the Auditorium at 4.00 PM. Vice-Chancellor of KUET Prof. Dr. Muhammed Alamgir graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

Prof. Dr. Tarapada Bhowmick, Dean, Faculty of ME, Prof. Dr. Md. Nawsher Ali Moral, Head, Department of ME, Md. Habibur Rahman, MD of Hamko Group were present as the special Guests. Prof. Dr. Khandkar Aftab Hossain, President, ME Association presided over the ceremony.

At the ceremony fresher’s students were received with flower and crest handed over the graduates students. Among others teachers from ME and various departments, others students of the Department were also present the function.
