Maker Fest held successfully at Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET) on 12 May 2016 at the University Auditorium, that was a festival-style carnival that aims to bring together aspiring makers and creators under one roof for MAKE-A-THON Bangladesh 2016. Vice-Chancellor of KUET Prof. Dr. Muhammed Alamgir inaugurated the festival as the Chief Guest.

Head, Business Studies of Khulna University Prof. Dr. Md. Nurun Nabi, Head of EEE Department of KUET Prof. Dr. Ashraful Ghani Bhuiyan, Associate Prof of ECE Department Dr. Pallab Kumar Choudhury, MD of Techno Needs Imran Ahmed, Erad Kawser from Better Stories Ltd spoke on the ceremony.
