Rokeya Hall of KUET observed International Women’s Day on 08 March, 2016 at the premises of Rokeya Hall. Vice-Chancellor of KUET Prof. Dr. Muhammed Alamgir graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Professor of Microbiology Department and Chairman of Drama & Music Department of Jagannath University Prof. Dr. Laisa Ahmed Lisa was present as the invited guest. Meherunnesa Lata Wife of KUET VC, Director (Students’ Welfare) Prof. Dr. Sobahan Mia, Sports Editor of Ekattor TV Partho Tanvir Naved spoke on the occasion as the special guest. Shuheli Shaila Ahmed, Provost(CC) of Rokeya Hall, Presided over the function. Assistant Provost of Rokeya Hall Monika Gope and Mehnuma Tabassum Omar, other teachers from different departments and students of Rokeya Hall of KUET were present in the function.
