Days long Annual Sports Competition 2015 and prize given ceremony held at KUET on 01 January 2016. This annual sports competition was started on 20 December, 2015. Vice-Chancellor of KUET professor Dr. Muhammed Alamgir was inaugurated the sports competition as the chief guest by hoisted national flag and releasing balloons and pigeon in the sky while Professor Dr. Sobahan Mia hoisted the KUET flag, Professor Dr. Shibendra Shekher Shikder hoisted the Olympic flag and provosts of all Students Residential Halls hoisted their respective halls flags. Vice-Chancellor of KUET Prof. Dr. Muhammed Alamgir also distributed prizes among the winners of the competitions as the Chief Guest. Director (Student’s Welfare) Prof. Dr. Sobahan Mia Presided over the ceremony. Among others Deans, Directors, Departmental Heads, Provosts & Assistant Provosts of different Halls, other teachers, Officers, students and staffs were present in the function. During the 13 days long sports competition 2015, thirty four events took place where Amar Ekushey Hall and Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Hall won the Champions and the Runner-up Trophy respectively. Plenty of spectators enjoyed the colorful various attractive competition of the Annual Sports Competition 2015 of KUET students.
