Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) had been signed on January 02, 2016 among Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET) and ICT Division for the project entitled “Top Up IT Training and ITES Foundation Skills Training”. In the Inauguration Ceremony 100 Laptop also distributed among the insolvent talented student’s of KUET. This event is arranged by the Information & Communication Technology Division of the Bangladesh Government and Laptop Donated by the Exim Bank.

State Minister of ICT Division Zunaid Ahmed Palak inaugurated the function as the chief guest with KUET VC Prof. Dr. Muhammed Alamgir in the chair. The Special Guests were S M Mostofa Rashidi Suja, MP, Director of IICT of KUET Prof. Dr. Bashudeb Chandra Ghosh, Administrator of Khulna Zela Pasishad SK. Harunur Rashid, Joint Sectetary & LICT Project Director Md. Rejaul Karim, Joint Secretary and LICT Project Manager Sarkar Abul Kalam Azad.

Senior Assistant Vice-President and Relationship Manager of Exim Bank Md. Mahbub-ul-alam, Assistant Vice-President and Relationship Manager of Exim Bank Mohammed Younus Ali, Director (Student’s Welfare) of KUET Prof. Dr. Sobahan Mia, Assistant Director (Student’s Welfare) of KUET Osman Goni Nayem, President of KUET Chattra Legue Safayet Hossain Noyon, GS of KUET Chattra Legue Ali Imtiaz Shohan also spoke on the occasion.
