Amid much festivity and fanfare, a four-day first intra-university photography festival “Diversity” was held in Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) from 10-13 September, 2015. With the theme `Ekti Chhobi Onek Na Bola Kotha, Ekti Chhobi Biggan, Sahittyo O Samajer Protichchhobi’, The KUET Photographic Society, in association with Banglalink, has arranged the festival. Prof. Dr. Muhammed Alamgir, vice-chancellor of KUET, inaugurated the festival on 10 September at 12:30 pm at the university auditorium as chief guest. The opening ceremony was addressed by Prof. Dr. Shibendra Shekher Sikder, Dean of Civil Engineering Faculty, Dr. G.G. Md. Nawaz Ali, In-Charge Director (Student Welfare), Osman Gani Nayeem, Assistant Director (Student Welfare), Mahmudul Haq Bulbul, regional sales manager of Banglalink and Md. Mehedi Hasan, moderator of KUET photographic society. A total of 33 photographs have been put on display at the exhibition. The exhibition was scheduled to remain open from 4.00pm to 8.00pm everyday till 13 September, 2015. After successful ending of the exhibition Rafid Al Johur, CE, 2k10 batch student, handed over one of his photo, which is displayed at the exhibition to the Vice-Chancellor of KUET in VC’s office.
