The oral examination of the Ph.D. dissertation of a student (Saraot Noor)  of the Department of Physics of KUET was held on last 3 July 2011. The Vice-Chancellor of KUET, Prof. Alamgir was also present during presentation of the thesis before the examination board supervised Prof. S.S. Sikder. The title of the thesis is “Study of Additive Effects on the Structural, Magnetic and Transport Properties of the Cabalt Ferrities”.  The examination board members are Prof. Dr. Amitab Goshai (India), Dr. AKM Abdul Hakim, Dr. Dilip Kumar Shaha, Prof. Dr. Abu Hasan Bhuiyan and Prof. Md. Rafiqul Islam.
