New building of Medical Centre of Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET) was unveiled at 12 pm. on 12 May 2014 Monday. VC of KUET Prof. Dr. Muhammed Alamgir, as the chief guest, unveiled the stone board and inaugurated it by cut ribbons and walk inside. In a short speech, Prof. Alamgir thanked Ministry of Education, UGC, Planning & Development section and Engineering Section of KUET, Architect and all concerned related to this project. With the building of this attractive and exceptional design of KUET Medical Centre, the University moves another step forward to the progress to its goals. Special prayer was also held just after the unveiling the plate board of New building of KUET Medical Centre. Director (Planning and Development) Prof. Dr. Shibendra Shekher Sikder, Chif Medical Officer Dr. Rifat Sultana Shelley, Chief Engineer A B M Mamunur Rashid spoke on the Ceremony. Dean of the Faculties, Directors, Heads of the Departments, Section Heads, Teachers, Officers and Staff of KUET were present in the occasion. KUET Medical Centre is a project entitled "Development of Public Universities" under The Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh.
