A condolence meeting for Md. Zillur Rahman, Honorable President of The People’s Republic of Bangladesh and Chancellor of Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET) was held at the university auditorium at 03:30 p.m. on March 25.

The Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor of KUET Professor Dr. Muhammed Alamgir chaired the programme and delivered speech there. Dean of faculty of Civil Engineering Prof. Dr. Md. Bazlar Rahman, Dean of faculty of Mechanical Engineering Prof. Dr. A.N.M. Mizanur Rahman, Dean of faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering Prof. Dr. Ashraful Ghani Bhuiyan, Director of Institute of Information & Communication Technology (IICT) Prof. Dr. Md. Keramat Ali Molla, Director of Students’ Welfare Prof. Dr. Muhammad Harunur Rashid, Register (CC) G.M. Shahidul Alam, Professor of Mechanical Engineering Department Dr. Naseem Ahmed, Professor of Physics Department Dr. Shibendra Shekher Sikder, from officer Asstt. Engineer Hossain Mohammad Arshad, from staff Md. Robiul Islam, among student Isfak Abir and Foyej Ahmed spoke in the condolence meeting. Then Lecturer of Civil Engineering Department Mahzabin Afroz narrated the life sketch of Md. Zillur Rahman.

Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Muhammed Alamgir, others guests & students expressed their deep shock at the death of Chancellor of Khulna University of Engineering & Technology Md. Zillur Rahman. The speakers called him a strong and powerfull lover for Bangladesh.

Without that a Shok Rally was held in KUET campus at 06:30 p.m. on March 20 and a Milad-Mahfil was also arranged after Asr prayer on March 22 at the KUET central Mosque.
