Two days long Annual Sports Competition 2012 held at KUET respectively on 27& 28 December 2012. Honorable Mayor of Khulna City Corporation Alhaj Talukder Abdul Khaleque inaugurated the function as the Chief Guest Thursday on 27 December 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at KUET play ground. At the very next day on 28 December at 5:15 p.m. the Vice-Chancellor of KUET Prof. Dr. Muhammed Alamgir has given away prizes among the winners of the competitions as the Chief Guest. Director (Students’ Welfare) Prof. Dr. Muhammad Harunur Rashid, Who was also the Chairman of the Annual Sports 2012 competition committee was present there. Among others Provosts & Assistant Provosts of different Halls, Deans, Directors, Departmental Heads, other teachers, Officers, students and staffs were present in the function. During the two days long sports competition 2012, thirty eight events took place where Amar Ekushey Hall and Lalan Shah Hall won the Champions and the Runner up Trophy respectively. Plenty of spectators enjoyed the colorful two days long various attractive competition of the Annual Sports Competition 2012 of KUET students.
