The final match of Football Tournament 2012 of KUET Employees’ Association was held on 24 November, Saturday at 3:30 pm. at KUET campus. Mechanical Faculty got the honour of being the Champion defeating Civil Faculty by 3-1 goals. Civil Faculty was awarded the Runner-up trophy. VC of KUET Prof. Dr. Muhammed Alamgir was present in the final match as the Chief Guest. He enjoyed the final match and awarded the Champion & Runner-up trophies, prizes to individual players. Head of the Department of Civil Engineering Prof. Dr. Kh. Md. Shafiul Islam, Assistant Director of Students’ Welfare Mr. Md. Selim Hossain present as the Special Guests. Staffs, viewers and others were also present in the final match and in the prize-giving ceremony. Later, in the ceremony Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Alamgir awarded and inaugurated a 32¢ LCD Colour Television for the stuff club of KUET. The events were presided over by the President of KUET Kormachary Samity Saikh Tayebur Rahman.
