The online application for the first year B.Sc. Engineering and Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning (BURP) courses admission of 2012-13 academic session of Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) began on 23 September 2012 Sunday. The Vice-Chancellor of KUET Prof. Dr. Muhammed Alamgir inaugurated the online application in presence of an applicant who complete the application form with required fees at a simple programme held at KUET Central Computer Centre. Among others Chairman of the Admission Test committee 2012-13 and Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Prof. Dr. A N M Minzanur Rahman, Deans of other faculties, Departmental Heads, Directors, Chairman of Computer Centre, Registrar and Controller of Examinations, System Analyst and other officers related to the online registration were present in the function. The online application will continue till 14 October 2012 Sunday. The list of qualified applicants of the admission test will be displayed on October 24. The Admission Test will be held on 9 November Friday at 9:30 am to 12:00 pm. In the academic session 2012-2013 this year a total number of 725 students will be admitted in nine Departments such as 120 seats for Civil Engineering (CE), 120 seats for Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE), 120 seats for Mechanical Engineering (ME), 60 seats for Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), 60 seats for Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), 60 seats for Industrial & Production Engineering (IPE), 60 seats for Urban & Regional Planning(URP), 60 seats for Lather Engineering (LE), 60 Seats for Textile Engineering (TE) Departments with five seats reserved. Applicants are asked to collect every information about the process of online application from the university website (www.admission-kuet.ac.bd).
