Prof. Dr. A K Azad Chowdhury inaugurates the construction works of KUET Medical Centre

The Hon’ble Chairman (State Minister) of the Bangladesh University Grants Commission (UGC) Prof. Dr. A K Azad Chowdhury inaugurated the construction works of KUET Medical Centre which the students of KUET have been demanding for long time. It is great news for all of KUET that a well-designed Medical Centre is being constructed. The construction works was inaugurated by laying the foundation stone on a very particular day that is the 9th University Day of KUET, 1^st September, 2012 at 1:45pm on the bank of West Pond at KUET in the south of Water Treatment Plant. In a short speech he expressed his surprise that how beautiful the design of the three storied Building and more surprisingly within only One Core and Fifty Five Lac Taka only. The occasion was also addressed by the Vice-Chancellor of KUET Prof. Dr. Muhammed Alamgir, while Chief Engineer A B M Mamunur Rashid narrated entire project and various facilities of the center. After laying the foundation stone, an special prayer was held. Director (Planning and Development) Prof. Dr. M. A. Bashar, Chief Medical Officer, all the doctors of KUET Medical center, Executive Engineer Md. Zulfikar Hossain, other senior teachers and officials were also present in the function.
