KUET Inter-Hall Football Championship 2012 completed successfully during 5-14 July, 2012 with the final match held on 14 July, Saturday. Dr. M A Rashid Hall got the honour of being the Champion defeating the defending champion Lalan Shah Hall by 2-0 goals. Lalan Shah Hall was awarded the Runner-up trophy. VC of KUET Prof. Dr. Muhammed Alamgir was present in the final match as the Chief Guest. He enjoyed the final match and awarded the Champion & Runner-up trophies, medals to individual players and other prizes among the man of the match. Tonmoy, who scored a beautiful goal in the final match of Dr. M A Rashid Hall, was honoured as the player of the final Match and Abrar of Lalan Shah Hall got the honour of being the player of the tournament. Prof. Dr. M. Harunar Rashed, DSW (in-charge) presided over the prize-giving ceremony. Among others Mr. A N M Enamul Kabir and Dr. M A Matin, Provost of Dr. M A Rashid Hall and Lalan Shah Hall, respectively also spoke on the occasion. Provosts, assistant Provosts, teachers from different Departments, plenty of students, other officers, staff, viewers and others were present in the final match and in the prize-giving ceremony. Earlier the tournament began on July 5 inaugurated by the VC of KUET.
