Reception of ’11 batch students and inauguration ceremony of Leather Engineering (LE) department of KUET were held at June 25, 2012. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammed Alamgir, as the chief guest, unveiled the stone board and inaugurated the ceremony. Special prayer was also held just after unveiling the plate board. Later, LE Association of KUET celebrated freshers’ reception of `11 batch students of the department. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Alamgir graced the occasion as the chief guest while Prof. Dr. A N M Mizanur Rahman, Dean, Faculty of ME, Prof. Dr. Md. Bazlar Rahman, Dean, Faculty of CE, Director (P&D) Prof. Dr. Md. Abul Bashar were present as the Special Guests. Head of LE department Prof. Dr. Md. Syed Ali Molla presided over the ceremony.
