Mr. S. M. Tariqul Islam is a Lecturer in Institute of Disaster Management (IDM) at Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET). He joined the department in 1st April 2014. He received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Environmental Science from Khulna University of Bangladesh. He has 15 technical publications. His research interests include Disaster prediction and early preparedness, Emergency response during and after a disaster, Disaster Modeling and Environmental Impact Assessment.
