I am working as an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Disaster Management (IDM) since December 2020. I joined this institute as a lecturer in January 2018. I have pursued my graduation in urban and regional planning from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). I have completed my MSc in Photogrammetry and Geoinformatics from Stuttgart Technology University of Applied Sciences , Germany with full funded DAAD scholarship. Major areas of my research interest includes Climate change risk and impact modelling, Climate induced coastal hazards, Disaster risk (exposure, vulnerability, capacity) assessment, Disaster resilience, Livelihood assets analysis, Hydrology and flood modelling, Agriculture and food security, Water security, Water and sanitation hygiene, Sanitation behavior model and behavior changing interventions and Spatial analysis using GIS and Remote Sensing.
