KUET authority appointed Dr. Akhand as the head of the department for next two years effective from January 01, 2018.
The no. of publications of Dr. Akhand have touched 100 by the end of 2017. Congratulations on his astounding success in this short period of time.
Dr. M. A. H. Akhand, Head of CIRG, was in Japan as a JSPS fellow with honor of Visiting Professor at University of Fukui. Research knowledge exchange and establishment of collaboration are the great achievements during the fellowship while visiting different laboratories of University of Fukui, Toyama Prefectural University, Tokyo Metropolitan University, Saitama University and Tohoku University.
Dr. M. A. H. Akhand, Head of CIRG, has been involved in the editorial board of International Journal of Image, Graphics and Signal Processing(IJIGSP)(http://www.mecs-press.org/ijigsp/index.html), Modern Education& Computer Science Press, Hong Kong.
A paper of Dr. Akhand has been published in the IAENG International Journal of Computer Science(IJCS). The paper is the outcome of a MSc thesis under his supervision.
Dr. P. C. Shill, member of CIRG joined as an Associate Professor in the CSE department.
A paper of Dr. P. C. Shill and Dr. Akhand has been accepted in the Journal Int. J. of Information Technology and Decision Making (IJITDM).
Four papers from the research group have been presented in the International Conference on International Conference on Electrical Engineering and Information & Communication Technology (iCEEiCT2015) May 21-23, 2015.
A paper of Dr. Akhand has been accepted in the I.J. Image, Graphics and Signal Processing.

Four papers from the research group have been presented in the International Conference on Informatics, Electronics & Vision (ICIEV 2014), Dhaka, Bangladesh, held on May 23-24, 2014.
Two papers from the M.Sc. thesis works guided by Dr. Akhand has been accepted for presentaion in the International Conference on Electrical Information and Communication Technology (EICT 2013), Khulna, Bangladesh.
Prof. Dr. R. Alam, Member of CIRG has been joined as the Head of Computer Science and Engineering department at November 04, 2013. We hope his successful leadership of the department.

floor), Bangladesh.

Dr. Md. Faijul Amin joined in the research group. He joined in the Dept. of CSE as an Assistant Professor after completing D. Eng. from the University of Fukui, Japan. His dissertation title was “Complex-Valued Neural Networks: Learning Algorithms and Applications”
