Sk. Yasir Arafat Siddiki currently works in the Department of Chemical Engineering, Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET). He was the first faculty to join this department. Previously, he worked in energy sectors for a few years- first as an R&D engineer in Bashundhara Oil and Gas Company Ltd. (BOGCL) at Dhaka and then in Eastern Refinery Ltd (ERL) at Chattogram. Sk. Yasir has a keen interest in conducting innovative research in various fields of Chemical Engineering. His primary research interests are alternative fuels, petroleum refining, petrochemicals, catalysis, environmental engineering, process simulation and optimization, etc. He loves and follows football passionately.
