Md. Mehrab Hossain is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Building Engineering and Construction Management (BECM). He completed his secondary level in 2011 and higher secondary level in 2013. Since, Mr. Hossain had a lot of interest in geometry, mathematics was turning into his most favorite subject. He secured top position at every stage of his preliminary academic activities. The continuity of this phenomenon had brought him a brilliant result in pre-secondary education level. Mr. Hossain completed his B.Sc. Eng. in Building Engineering and Construction Management degree at Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET) in April 23, 2018. After completing the graduation, he joined as a Lecturer in the same university due to have a strong academic background securing first position in his department. Mr. Hossain has been awarded for “Prime Minister Gold Medal Award-2018” from the Honorable Prime Minister, Government of People's Republic of Bangladesh for securing first position in the Faculty of Civil Engineering at KUET. He has been also selected for “President Gold Medal Award” as well due to the top student of his own department. Mr. Hossain always hanker after the research based environment due to the creative thinking and problem solving attitude. In the continuation of this creative mindset, he conducted many researches that deal with construction management and finally published his works in several international journals. Mr. Hossain has been successfully granted the University Grants Commissions (UGC) funded project as a Project Director. He is currently active as the potential reviewer in several international journals including major contribution. Mr. Hossain personally prefers his research in advanced construction engineering management integrated with Building Information Modeling, Smart Technology in Construction, Automation in Construction, AR & VR and Sensing Technology, Risk and Hazard Management, Quality Control and Dynamic Analysis, Sustainable and Lean Construction, Energy Efficient Building and Environmental Technology.
