Welcome to my personal website. I am Professor Dr. Shibendra Shekher Sikder. I was born at Faridpur, Bangladesh on 16th December 1960. I received my B.Sc. (Honours) and M. Sc., in 1980 and 1981 respectively. I was appointed as a lecturer in the Department of Physics, Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (EX. BIT) in 1987. I became Assistant Professor in 1992, Associate Professor in 2001 and Professor in 2003. I received my M. Phil and Ph. D. degree in Physics from BUET, in 1988 and 1999 respectively. I have visited countries such as: India, Thailand, Vietnam, England, Malaysia, Sweden, Turkey, Hong Kong, Japan for Scientific Presentations. My area of research is Magnetism, Amorphous and Nanocrystalline Magnetic Ribbons, Soft and Hard Ferrites, Nanostructure Magnetic Materials, Biomaterials. I have supervised so for about 10 M. Sc., 20 M. Phil and 3 Ph. D. Student. At Present 7 M. Sc , 1 M. Phil Student and 4 Ph. D. Students working.
