Assalamu Walikum. This is Md. Sohag Hossain, Currently he served as a Physics Lecturer at KUET. He was born and grew up in Naogaon, Bangladesh. He passed his Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exam from M.G. High School, Naogaon and Completed his Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) program from Naogaon Govt. College, Naogaon. Then he admitted into the department of Physics under University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh for 4 years integrated Bachelor of Science (BSc) program and passed with a good academic result. He passed his Master of Science (MSc) in Physics from the same institute. During his MSc program he had been performed his research on Atomic and Molecular Physics Lab and conduct his Thesis on the topic of "Theoretical study of Proton induced secondary electron emission and scattering of electrons by Pb atom" under the direct supervision of Prof. Dr. M. Alfaz Uddin. After that, he achieved a prestigious fully funded Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission (BAEC) Scholarship for pursuing 2 years Master's on Nuclear Engineering program from Moscow Engineering and Physics Institute, MEPhI, Russia. During these period, he have been gained theoretical and practical knowledge about Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) operation, Maintenance, Safety, and Commissioning technology by participating different training program and visiting on operational NPP site and Nuclear equipment manufacturing industry those are organized by ROSATOM. He had been conducted his second M.Sc. Thesis on the topic of "Classification and Cluster Analysis for NPP Diagnostics" under the guidance of Prof. Askom Skhomorokhov, a Professor of Nuclear Power and Technology Department, Obninsk Institute for Nuclear Power Engineering, Obninsk, Moscow, Russia. His future dream is to completing his Doctoral studies (PhD) on the field of Nuclear Engineering from abroad. And want to provide a quality contribution for his country by creating trained manpower & rise public awareness about peaceful use of nuclear energy.
