A three days long 'National Mechanical Festival Ignition 2019' was held at Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET) on 26-28 September 2019. Department of Mechanical Engineering of KUET organized the festival.

The Prize giving Ceremony was held on 28 September at 06 PM. Honorable Vice-Chancellor of KUET, Prof. Dr. Quazi Sazzad Hossain was present as the Chief Guest in the ceremony. Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Ariful Islam; Director (Students’ Welfare), Prof. Dr. Shibendra Shekher Sikder; Managing Director of West Zone Power Distribution Company Limited, Engr. Md. Shafique Uddin; Chief Marketing Officer of Niloy Motors Limited, Abu Aslam; Director (Eng.) of SincoS Engineers Limited, Naasik M. Akkas were present as special guests. Head of ME Department of KUET, Prof. Dr. Sobahan Mia presided over the function. More than 500 students from 25 Universities of Bangladesh participated to the festival.
