A three days long "Inition 2018: National Mechanical Festival" was held at Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET) on 06-08 September 2018. Department of Mechanical Engineering of KUET organized the festival. The Prize giving Ceremony was held on 08 September at 08 PM. Acting Vice-Chancellor and Dean of Faculty of Civil Engineering, Prof. Dr. Quazi Hamidul Bari was present as the Chief Guest in the ceremony. Dean of Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Prof. Dr. Mihir Ranjan Halder and President of Mechanical Engineering Association, Prof. Dr. Khandkar Aftab Hossain were present as special Guests. Prof. Md. Golam Kader from ME Department of KUET was the Convener of the Festival and Head of ME Department of KUET, Prof. Dr. Sobahan Mia presided over the function. Over 700 students from 21 Universities from Bangladesh participated in the festival.
