New year, new books for the students of class one to nine “Textbook Festival 2018” as a part of countrywide free textbooks distribution program held at the Schools of Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET) on 01 January at 10 am. Vice-Chancellor of KUET Prof. Dr. Muhammed Alamgir distributed new free textbook among the students as the Chief Guest. In his speech, Prof. Alamgir urged the students to study hard because the fortune of Bangladesh depends on their success. He also thanked and expressed his gratitude to the Government of Bangladesh and related ministry for countrywide handed over new textbook to the students at the first day of new year. Professor of ECE Department Dr. Md. Mostafizur Rahman, Professor of Physics Department Dr. Jolly Sultana, Librarian Md. Akkas Uddin Pathan of KUET present there as special guest. Among others Md. Zahidul Islam, Headmaster of Khulna Engineering University School, Md. Akbar Hossain, Headmaster of Unmesh Govt. Primary School, Mst. Razia Sultana, Headmaster of Khulna Engineering University School (Primary), all teachers, students, guardians and others were also present at the occasion.
