A tea party arranged by the administration of KUET for the retirement of Professor of Civil Engineering Department Dr. Md. Monjur Hossain on November 15, 2017 at 3 pm. Vice-Chancellor of KUET Prof. Dr. Muhammed Alamgir presided over the function. Ex Director of BIT, Khulna Prof. M. A. Hannan, Faculty deans, directors, departmental heads, provosts of the hall, registrar and other high official of KUET attended the function. In the meantime, a crest handed over to the departing Prof. Dr. Md. Monjur Hossain and adorned him a sash (uttoriyo) by VC of KUET Prof. Dr. Muhammed Alamgir. Earlier, a farewell ceremony also arranged by the Civil Engineering department at 12 pm. VC of KUET Prof. Dr. Muhammed Alamgir present as the chief guest while Head of Civil Engineering Department Prof. Dr. Muhammad Harunur Rashid in the chair. Later, a farewell ceremony also arranged by the Teachers Association for the retirement of Prof. Dr. Md. Monjur Hossain at 7 pm. VC of KUET Prof. Dr. Muhammed Alamgir present as the chief guest while Prof. Dr. Shibendra Shekher Sikder, President of Teachers Association, in the chair. General Secretary of Teachers Association Prof. Dr. Sobahan Mia represent the function.
