Fresher’s Reception of the students of `16 batch of Energy Science and Engineering (ESE) was held on 15 May at 3:30 pm at the seminar room of Textile Engineering Department. Vice-Chancellor of KUET Prof. Dr. Muhammed Alamgir graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Dean of ME Faculty Prof. Dr. Mihir Ranjan Halder, Director of Institute of Environment and Power Technology (IEPT) Prof. Dr. A N M Mizanur Rahman, Managing Director of Samit Oil and Shipping Company Limited Engr. M Hafizur Rahman, P.Eng. was present as the Special Guest. Head of ESE Department Prof. Dr. Mohammad Ariful Islam presided over the ceremony. At the ceremony fresher’s students were received with flowers and Energy Science and Engineering Association inaugurated by the Chief Guest. Among others teachers and students of ESE department were present in the function.
