  • Youth Summit held at KUET
    Media Adviser of Prime Minister urges students to build themselves as future leaders

  • Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's Media Adviser Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury here on Saturday urged the students to build themselves as future leaders for taking the country forward with the spirit of Liberation War. “Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman had brought us an independent Bangladesh while his daughter Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is working to attain economic emancipation to make the country as a developed one,” he said. Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury, was addressing as chief guest in a Youth Summit held at the Khulna University of Engineering and Technology(KUET) auditorium.

    Supported by Khulna University of Engineering and Technology(KUET), Assurance Developments, Borak, Kif Fable, Gazi Medical College, Unique Group, Rotary Clubs and other organizations, Center for Developing Management Excellence (CDME) organized the summit with the theme--Maximize the potential within career seminar for youth.

    Vice-Chancellor of Khulna University of Engineering and Technology(KUET) Professor Dr. Muhammed Alamgir, former chairman of Bangladesh Public Service Commission Ekram Ahmed, Ex-DG of BTV M Hamid, Chairman of Assurance Moni Group Gias Uddin Khan, Next-Rotary District Governor FM Alamgir and owner of Gazi Medical College and Hospital Dr. Gazi Mizanur Rahman, addressed as guest speakers. Ex-Rotary District Governor SAM Showket Hossain conducted the programme and addressed as keynote speaker.

    A total of 885 youths including KUET and Khulna University students and members of different Rotary Clubs of Khulna attended the summit.
