The three days long (29 Sep-01 Oct. 2016) TIB-KDS Debate2016 Fest were ended successfully in KUET campus. On 01 Oct. Saturday, as the Chief Guest, Prof. Dr. Muhammed Alamgir, the Vice-Chancellor of KUET, handed over the prizes to the winner at the closing ceremony in the KUET auditorium. Director of Outreach & Communication of TIB Dr. Rizwan-Ul-Alam, Director(Student’s welfare) of KUET Prof. Dr. Sobahan Mia, Moderator of KDS Tonmoy Chakraborty, Member of SONAK of Khulna Prof. Md. Jafor Imam were present as the Special Guests while Farhana Kabir Jisha, President of KDS, presided over.

In the Debate, the team from Premier University became the Champion, while Dhaka College team became the Runner-up. 32 teams from 30 institute attended TIB-KDS Debate Fest 2016.

KUET Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammed Alamgir inaugurated the TIB-KDS Debate Fest as chief guest on 29 Sep. at 11 am. TIB's Executive Director Dr. Iftekharuzzaman, Director(Student’s welfare) of KUET Prof. Dr. Sobahan Mia, Moderator of KDS Tonmoy Chakraborty, Vice President of SONAK of Khulna A.K.Hiru were present as the Special Guests while Sanjid Hasan, President of KDS, presided over.
