A three-days long International Conference on Electrical Information and Communication Technology (EICT-2015) held at Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) on 10-12 December, 2015. The conference has been organized by Faculty of Electrical & Electronic Engineering, KUET.

Honourable Member of UGC Prof. Dr. Md. Yousuf Ali Mollah inaugurated the conference as chief guest on 10 December at 10 am. at the University auditorium. KUET Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammed Alamgir present as Chief Patron. Organizing Chair of EICT 2015 Prof. Dr. Md. Nurunnobi Mollah presided over the inaugural session. Secretary of the conference organising committee Prof. Dr. K.M. Azharul Hasan present as special guest.

In the key note session individually paper presented by Prof. Dr. Falguni Gupta, IIT, Kanpur, India and Prof. Dr. Siddiki Rabbani, Dhaka University, after the inauguration ceremony.

On 12 December at night in the closing ceremony of the conference ICT Division Secretary Shyam Sunder Shikder was present as the chief guest, KUET Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammed Alamgir present as Chief Patron and Rector of Engineering Staff College Prof. Dr. M. A Hannan present as special guest.

Scientists, engineers, researchers and scholars from different universities, deans of different faculties of KUET, departmental heads and directors participated in the conference. In their speech all the guest and experts hoped that the conference would be able to share knowledge and experiences to develop new ideas through use of new technologies.

From the world 13 countries 115 technical papers are selected from more than 350 research papers, which are presented in 32 technical session in the three days conference and the best 3 papers are rewarded. The participants of the conference visited Sundarban and Mongla Port and conference dinner also held at the end of Conference.
