Switchgear and protection laboratory inaugurated on June 14, 2015 at the EEE Department of KUET. Establishment of this laboratory the students are gathered real experience of online protection of electrical tools like generator, transformer etc, which is use for electrical power generation, transmission and distribution. VC of KUET Prof. Dr. Muhammed Alamgir inaugurated the laboratory as the Chief Guest. From the Teacher of EEE Department, Director of IICT Prof. Dr. Bashudeb Chandra Ghosh, Director (Research & Extension) Prof. Dr. Md. Rafiqul Islam, Head of EEE Department Prof. Dr. Ashraful Ghani Bhuiyan delivered short speech in the function. Teachers and students of EEE Department, other teacher, officer, staff and students were present at the function. Moreover, with the use of low cost domestic technology this international standards laboratory was invented by the supervised of Prof. Dr. Md. Rafiqul Islam of EEE Department of KUET and in collaboration with the Senior Engineer Shahidullah Siddik.
