Urban and Regional Planning (URP) Association of URP Department of KUET celebrated fresher’s reception of `13 batch students on February 28, 2015 at the seminar room of URP Department. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammed Alamgir graced the occasion as the Chief Guest while, Dean of Faculty of CE Prof. Dr. Shibendra Shekher Sikder, Dean of Faculty of ME Prof. Dr. Md. Syed Ali Molla, Director of Students Welfare (In-Charge) Md. Osman Goni Nayeem were present as the Special Guest. Head of URP Department Tusar Kanti Roy Presided over the ceremony. At the ceremony fresher’s were received with flower by the guests. Among others the teachers and students of URP department, other officers, staffs were present in the function. Cultural Program Called `URP NIGHT’ also held at the Auditorium at 7 PM.
