Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET) celebrated Saraswati Puja, one of the religious festivals of the Hindu community on 4 February, 2014, with traditional gaiety, religious fervour and spirit of pursuit of art and knowledge which Goddess Saraswati provides. The Hindus worship Saraswati, the Goddess of knowledge, music, art and culture, on the Vasant Panchami day with pomp every year mostly in educational institutions, where the students seek the blessings of Goddess Saraswati. Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Muhammed Alamgir visited the celebration of Saraswati Puja in the University Campus. He exchanged greetings with the devotees and spend sometimes with them. In a speech, he hoped that the students will uphold the inner message of the Goddess Saraswati to develop the inside of their mind, which will lead them to work hard for the development of better Bangladesh.
