Responsibility: Biomedical Engineering (BME) Department has been established as a Postgraduate Department (PG) under the Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at KUET in May 2007 for the first-time in Bangladesh. As a pioneer Head of the Department, I have to face a lot of challenges for developing recruitment criteria for the faculty members and staffs and also to formulate student admission requirement. My responsibilities were to develop up-to-date course curricula and hence to develop modern research laboratories for the PG students.
