My research works mainly focus on radio resource management and QoS provisioning issues including call admission control (CAC), interference management, mobility management, service level agreement (SLA), Queuing analysis, QoS/bandwidth adaptation, etc. for macrocellular, femtocellular, and other cellular network environments. I did many novel works in the field of wireless communication. I have been working on the new wireless technology named femtocell since 2006 when the idea of femtocell was just introduced. Furthermore, I worked on visible light communication (VLC) which is also a new technology of wireless communication, to complete few Korean government projects. During my MS and PhD study period, I was involved in many Korean government projects. As an active researcher, I am also involved with organizing conferences and other editorial activities. I have been serving as a reviewer for several SCI/SCIE indexed journals (including IEEE Communications Magazine, IEEE Transaction on Vehicular Technology, IEEE Communications Letters, IEEE Journal on Selected Areas in Communications, Wireless Personal Communications (Springer), Wireless Networks (Springer), Mobile Networks and Applications (Springer), Recent Patents on Computer Science, KSII Transactions on Internet and Information Systems, and etc.) and IEEE conferences.

In February 2003, I have joined in the department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, KUET, Bangladesh as a lecturer. Currently, I am working as an assistant professor at the same department. After starting my carrier as a faculty member, I conducted many classes for undergraduate and postgraduate levels. I also supervised many undergraduate and postgraduate theses students.
