Welcome to the Computational Intelligence Research Group (CIRG) in Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET). Computational intelligence is an emerging research area to address complex real world problems. The CIRG was formed in January 1, 2012 with a view to share ideas and views in the development of new methods in Computational Intelligence (CI). The goal of CIRG is to carry out fundamental and applied research in the theory and design of intelligent systems. At present there are eleven faculty members and seven graduate students in the group. The members in the group are involved in distinct branches of CI that include neural networks, fuzzy systems, unsupervised feature learning, pattern recognition, ensemble learning, evolutionary computation, swarm intelligence, and bio-inspired computing techniques. Anyone is welcome to share any research or project related idea or to do collaborative research related to the group.
